Summerland Key 12/03/2018

After our morning walk we took the boat over to Summerland Key to spend a couple of hours exploring.  Summerland is between Ramrod Key and Cudjoe Key.  We only saw a few homes that appear to still have damage from Irma.  This Key has lots of canals with gorgeous homes and lots of large boats.  It even has a small private airport.

After our boating excursion we decided to spend some time in the pool.  It was a hot one today (89 degrees) so it was a great way to spend the afternoon.

We ended the evening with our daily golf cart ride out of the park so Ty can go for a walk.  It ended up with us pushing the golf cart home as the batteries died before we made it back to the Dirt Yacht.  Its a good thing this place is flat with no hills!

Gorgeous. I think this is a Great White Heron because he does not have black legs or beak like the Egret. The Great Egret has a bright yellow bill an dark black legs. The Snowy Egreet also has a black bill with black legs but they have bright yellow feet.
